A young male King Eider that was found on November 7th by Mary Normandia
continues near the Breezy Point jetty. Choppy conditions and bad light made it
a tricky pickup but it is there. Please note this duck was reported yesterday
near Fort Tilden not far from the Silver Gull Club so it does move up and down
the beach.
Other notables included a few Royal Terns, Purple Sandpipers, Lesser
Black-backed Gulls and a few banded Herring and Ring-billed Gulls.
Stay safe and keep those masks above the nose.
