Nice one Sarah. NBO were harassing me daily to sign up for their directory, after I mistakingly sent them an email during some link building efforts. After reading your blog post, I decided to have some fun with them.
So the next time they rang, I said I would gladly sign up for their service if they would answer a few small queries I had. I referred her to the 80 or so comments on your blog at the time. She said she would follow up, but of course didn't. So the following day when I received her call, I gladly reminded them I would happily sign up once they addressed the comments on the blog. Rinse and repeat this for a few more days. Finally, I asked her to open up a web browser so we could go through the comments together. I was told there was no internet access at the NBO office, so she wasn't able to have a look at Sarah's site. I think at the point I broke down in a fit of laughter and pointed out that she was a scammer and I was just having fun with them, and had no intention of signing up. Everybody, avoid anything to do with NBO like the plague. In my experience it's considerably easier to get rid of the plague. Harvey. PS. Any chance of Youtubing that news clip?
