Compelled to participate following the recent subject of OS preferences. I'm a newcomer to Ubuntu since my Windows XP got a virus just 4 weeks from a fresh install! I find Ubuntu is stable and flexible, and there is heaps of help on Google for everything I've encountered so far. One thing I find lacking is my idea of a perfect text editor for PHP. Quanta+ almost does it, but it has this annoying behaviour of not auto closing brackets when there is a character to the right of the cursor, it pisses me off! So I find I'm still using PSPad on WindowsXP in a virtual box for programming.
Please tell me your favourite editor that has auto-closing brackets and quotes. I've tried as many as Google has suggested and found pro's to each, but none that fit like the glove of PSPad to my hand ... Cheers, Anthony. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ NZ PHP Users Group: http://groups.google.com/group/nzphpug To post, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
