Hey Aaron.
Is your client using any form of proxy server to get out into the internet? Thanks, Nathan Web Controlled Robot Arm and Beetle http://www.kennedytechnology.com From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Aaron Cooper Sent: Friday, 24 October 2008 10:17 a.m. To: [email protected] Subject: [phpug] [OT]One user, IE7, address bar redirecting to Google search Hi all, This sounds like some sort of malware, but I've never heard of them redirecting to innocent old Google so it may be a plugin that the user isn't aware of installing. I have one customer who, when they type a particular website address in the address bar of IE7, are redirected to a google search on that domain. The correct site is listed in 1st position ofcourse. Clicking on the correct site at the top of the search results in a 404. This same thing happens on 2 different machines on the same network. I have had them clear cache and cookies. But still the same. Anyone heard of this? I can find nothing online. The user reports no similar issue with any other url. For the record, the site was moved around 3 weeks ago, but no other user has reported any problems. DNS? Their ISP is Compass.
