Eventfinder is New Zealand's dominant national events listing company. Our events are published not only on eventfinder.co.nz, but syndicated through a network of content partners that includes Yahoo!Xtra, MSN, NZ Herald and AA Travel amongst others. We have published over 20,000 events and are growing at a phenomenal rate. We are continually releasing new features and services, not only for our rapidly growing internet audience, but for our content syndication partners too. That is where you come in - we are looking for a talented website designer that can demonstrate a range of creative styles and understands contemporary website design trends. You will be able to work from initial creative concept through to final production into XHTML/CSS. Your creative ability will demonstrate a range of creative styles and an understanding of contemporary website design trends. In this role you will work closely with other team members, including developers and project managers, so great communications skills and respect for the experience of others are needed along with an eye for detail. Minimum requirements: - at least two years experience designing websites. - an online portfolio that demonstrates your creative ability. - excellent skill level working with Photoshop and Dreamweaver. - intermediate knowledge of XHTML/CSS. - English as a first language. - NZ residents only. We are particular about finding the right fit for the position, therefore salary will be commensurate with experience. Please note this is not a developer role - there is no requirement for any programming knowledge.
