Hi, I'm looking into integrating a Geo-location database into our international sites so that we can detect and suggest redirects to our visitors. I'm currently examining MaxMind's GeoIP databases and supporting wrappers (both php and Apache/C) and they look spot on (happy to pay the minimal monthlys for updates).
Just a quick sanity check as to other people's recommendations for similar services, or experiences using GeoIP in a mod_geoip (apache) context. Any gotchas I need to be aware of, or big performance issues people have encountered?
