Super Happy Dev House Aotearoa has invited SilverStripe to hold a hackfest themed around their SilverStripe open source CMS and the underlying PHP5-based MVC framework.
Sunday 1st March 2009, from 1pm until we get sleepy, at the Southern Cross (http://thecross.co.nz) in the Wellington CBD. SilverStripers will show website developers how to work with and contribute to the software. You can bring your own todo list, closedsource or opensource - or turn up and find someone to collaborate with. Spend your Sunday afternoon with fellow hackers writing code, submitting patches, and testing builds. Be prepared to buy your own lunch, coffee, and wifi traffic (day passes are $10, and clever geeks will work out how to make a single day pass go a long way.)
