Hi Harvey, On a related note to your original topic, I met someone at the small business expo a few years backs who was just setting up a self-service debt collection website which takes you through the debt management process and provides all of the relevant correctly-worded docs to manage this process yourself without having to resort to costly lawyers. There was a good process flow diagram detailing your/client actions, time periods and how to elevate to the next step if payment still didn't arrive.
www.collectit.co.nz To my memory there was a small monthly subs to use for all of your invoices. I've never tried it, and have no affiliation, but could be worth a look to avoid having to fork out for legal fees etc. Cheers, -Dan On Tue, Mar 3, 2009 at 9:36 AM, Aaron Cooper <[email protected]> wrote: > > Me too > > I have to say I saw it coming after Micheal's first post, so I just watched > and read the input before it degraded - which it did rather rapidly. > > Perhaps a good Wiki topic at some stage along side the "What to charge" > article?(sans ego-war).
