Yea, if you think about the eee as "an oversized ipod", then it's a
great gadget. You can do your email, skype, listen to music, etc. I
had all my music on it and streamed to my stereo over bluetooth. But
in the end I realised I had no real use to it.
Couldn't agree more with Harvey.
Just as a note, while doing my research I found that the "eee" was the
best value for money at the time. Other netbooks with similar specs as
the one I bought (I think it was the 1000h) were over $1000. The
cheaper netbooks didn't have 802.11n or bluetooth, or large hard-
drives. So you have to do your homework as usual.

It's a great machine if you are using it as a secondary machine. Good
for on the bus, on the couch, making small changes to sites, taking away
on holiday etc. I had to use it as a main machine for a week when my big
laptop went in for repair, and it just wasn't up to the task. The atom
processor / 1Gb just can't cope with running too many things at once.

I still think it's a really great product, providing you use it as a
portable secondary.

Harvey.
