If you do go down the API route, check out the GAPI class: http://code.google.com/p/gapi-google-analytics-php-interface/ Is a PHP5 class with full OXM (object xml mapping) that can be used in a way similar to doctrine or prototype. Currently at version 1.3, we are preparing 1.4 for release shortly - with support for different authentication methods (AuthSub). Has already had ~700 downloads
