Hi Aaron,

While binary file types can be version controlled fine, most of the handy
tools that come with version control software (diff, compare with repository
version etc) are geared for text files.

IMO, version control for projects is a good thing - even filling in a decent
commit message would allow you to easily locate a version of a binary file
if you needed to roll back and then you could export it and compare visually
with the current working version. Nice for those moments when image editing
software dies and takes your file/s with it.
