Off topic but something to make those who live in Wellington love it more, and create envy for all else: Greater Wellington (Regional Council) has worked with Google to get transport on maps.google.com, (known as Google Transit) which shows up also in the iPhone Google Maps app; very cool.
E.g. http://is.gd/2IjP0 Contrary to an article online (at http://www.stuff.co.nz/technology/digital-living/2815739/Wellington-buses-link-up-with-Google ) the service also provides train information.
