Presentation overview Topic: Debugging techniques for PHP programmers Speaker: Jochen Daum Speaker background: Jochen started his PHP career when building a "web server on a CD" system for Wella AG in Germany in 2001. Since coming to New Zealand in 2002 he has worked in several roles as a programmer and software architect with PHP. Since 2004 he offers his services of website system development, maintenance and consulting through his company Automatem Ltd. Throughout these years, Jochen has come across a wide variety of off-the-shelf CMS and E-Commerce applications as well as build a number of website himself from scratch. He has also build his own CRUD framework phpdbedittk. "Being a to debug PHP and analyse a problem fast has always been a business requirement throughout my career. The presentation will not so much focus on using debugging to provide or deepen an understanding of a php application, but rather to be able to analyse and fix a problem quickly."
