Hi All,

a latish reminder for the upcoming Auckland PHP meetup.

Venue Sponsor: Amnesty International New Zealand.

"Amnesty International NZ has been using Drupal since 2007. Previously on
a Lotus Domino website hosted in-house, intermittent issues pointed to a
drastic need to have a stable solution. Drupal was picked primarily
because it was also chosen by our international colleagues in London,
and also because the open source platform aligned with our
organisational culture. (Recently, Sparks Interactive re-vamped the
site! Shameless plugs here http://is.gd/58eFL and Berend of Xplain
Technology provides us with our awesome hosting for free!!!)

We have also used several other open source PHP solutions such as
Wordpress for our Freedomchallenge website (www.freedomchallenge.org.nz)
and small custom applications for various other things.

We are always on the lookout for probono PHP work, and love the help
that the PHPUG has given us so far! This sponsorship was a tiny little
giveback to the community!"
