Hi Emma,

Just be aware that this function is deprecated in 5.3 and DELETED from 6.0

Use Renjith's fix today, but get the site code fixed in the not too
distant future so if your hosting upgrades again to 6.0 it doesn't
break your uncle's application for this function (6.0 is such a big
change that you'll find enough other breakages to keep you busy
anyway).
