Just a follow up on the questions I received I thought i'll answer here: * Advantages/Benefits of using the product?* The problem we faced and that we are trying to solve are the following, if you have one or more, you might want to sign up as a beta user 1. We thought we can increase our productivity both on the individual as well as on the organization level (double is what we aimed at) by providing a simple easy to use tool and then couple it up with all the information required in our daily work lives 2. We wanted transparency in our organization without someone feeling like he/she spied upon 3. We wanted to leverage the knowledge created by individuals and groups overtime and make it reusable in future. For example we wanted to make it easier to replace an employee by another, usually when a employee leaves between project or even after it, we found it difficult and time consuming to get them up to speed 4. We wanted a place on the web where our employees go to when yfirst start their day, we didn't want that place to be facebook, we didn't want that to be a project management app either and all the intranets sucked 5. All the solutions we came across used for project management or knowledge management work well in small groups and with small set of data, when the organization grows, the way these apps are designed does not feel right, stuff goes in but doesn't come out 6. We wanted people in our organization to be self motivated to learn more and share more, we wanted them to show off and take pride in learning, teaching and sharing 7. And we did not want to spend a bomb on this *Is it a geared towards software companies? *No, its meant for all kinds of organizations, because fundamentally the problem that we try to solve is inherent to all organizations but to start with we are soliciting organizations that have 3 to 50 users *Is it good for single users? *We think even single users will enjoy the benefits of using our solution but when you hire more people (isn't that inevitable?) you are likely to thank us and buy huge bottles of free beer for us * How is it different than facebook, twitter? *Both are public social networks, our solution is built on top of a social platform yes but just for your own organization with a stress on being "productivity enhancer" rather than "productivity killer" *What license will the beta user sign into? *Beta users will use the product free for 6 months (we may increase this but will never lower it) from the date they join in, though we plan to start charging for the product lot sooner, beta user won't charged. Beta users will also enjoy a heavily discount price for a lifetime should they decide to keep using it *What are the benefit of signing up for beta?* 1. You will not be charged anything for a long time 2. When we do charge our beta users, we will heavily discount the base price 3. We will talk to you about the product roadmap 4 We will release new features to you first before everyone else 5. We will feature you in our case studies and home page for long long time and try to get you as much press as we can 6.
