Hi there, This can be a little hairy to get going first time.
Are the Projects created correctly in the admin? re they persistent (i.e.: when you save them, navigate to another page and then back home and view them are they still there?) I notice that Project doesn't extend any other relationship, so SS may not be able to map it to it's internal routines and class structure. I've used similar technique, but as mentioned in the online docs, I've made my custom class an extension of the DataObject class and have been able to successfully use a control block in the template to iterate through the "child" objects I created.
