Sorry about this query. I'm looking for suggestions for a good choice
of software for my brother to set up a site with. I'm just going to
pass on recommendations, so it will need to either be hosted or be
non-programmer friendly for install & set-up.

He describes the site as:
"I'm sending out a weekly newsletter (which I also need to spruce up
with some HTML) Semi Static with a news feed.

"There's tons of sites out there that are like that, for example this
one: http://motomatters.com/ It's got one plane with some useful
links and a large news feed. I'll include the news emails in the
feed.

"One could argue that its a blog I'm after and there's a degree of
truth as that pretty much describes the content. but I wanted to go a
tad upmarket from that."

I'm thinking pushing him hard towards blogspot with a few static
pages, failing which Wordpress or a simple CMS with a blog option, but
wondered if there's an obvious choice I hadn't considered.

Also, he's Sydney based. It's not a business so he probably won't
qualify for a .com.au, what's the .x.au extension that's a good fit
for a hobby site?

Thanks
