Actually, thanks for the input but I think my needs are so simple I'm
going to parse them manually and regex what I need out.
I'm just trying to get a summary on an hour's worth of busy site
activity, and the data I'm interested in is all background JSON requests
which I don't think Analytics has been watching.

AWStats focuses more on bandwidth usage, IP addresses and file requests so if
this is the type of info you're after then it will be fine. Anything beyond
that then it's probably not going to give you the data you need.
