I can second that. Couple of my German school friends are in IT and they all say Frankfurt and Munich regions are the power houses, especially if you are looking for highly paid work (which means you need to try less harder on the continuation and hours. > > That aside, Berlin is a fantastic place to live. Yep, good old GEMA, wondering if they get ever rid of it..... Also recommend that you use Xing, or there is a freelancer site called gulp.de - however you need to pay for membership. As everywhere, it is always about relationships. You can crash a couple of BNI meetings (www.bni.de) as well, usually you will just have to pay for breakfast.
