Hi PHP-ers! A Wellington-based client of mine has a PHP web app that needs to be installed on a fresh web server, some data from an old ASP (MS Access database) version of the app imported and possibly (they don't know yet) some small tweaks to the design and functionality. For testing and demo purposes, I set up the web site on my laptop and it was smooth sailing, so I don't expect this to be very difficult for anyone with a couple of years web development under their belt.
It's written using the Zend framework, so a passing familiarity with that would be a bonus. Enough server admin skills to get a LAMP stack up and running is important, too. This is one of my favourite clients, great to work with and able to clearly articulate what they want. I would be doing this myself but I'm heading off overseas pretty soon and I don't want them to have to rely on me for ongoing tweaks/fixes to the app over time. They're based in Wellington so you need to be able to meet with them once or twice to kick things off. If you live in Wellington that would be best but the majority of the work can be done remotely so someone living in Nelson or anywhere in the lower north island would be able to do this.
