Yes, that's another good approach. Note that with SilverStripe 3,
Dataobjectmanager has been more or less superseded by GridField, which you
can see at demo.silverstripe.org* … A grid field can be managed and used
within a page or as its own section using ModelAdmin.

* this is a public demo and so people will be constantly changing the
theme, pages, etc, so tred with a little caution.
