I agree, hiding your CV behind an auth wall will severely hurt your
chances of getting any responses.

Personally I like my CV is available to anyone without any additional
steps - just http://cv.zerkms.com (needs to huge re-work, but it's at
least indexed by google and doesn't require any sort of authentication)
