Ivan,
I'd say that people type it without thinking, and that most wouldn't see
it as a big deal (unlike like perhaps, you and I).
I get it all the time in support requests about products I sell - one is
called "Convoy", but people consistently call it "Convey", even in
replies to emails where I've used the product name multiple times (and
in bold).

Hi,
I've seen that too often to not ask about it - why do so many people
call it "codeignitOr"? Why this mistake is so common? How is it
possible to work with a tool every day and don't know its name?

We are starting an exciting new 4-6 month project. Green fields
application development.
We have too much work on so we need a couple of strong PHP
and JavaScript developers to supplement our team to help us build
this new application.
We currently use the CodeIgnitor framework for PHP and the
Backbone framework for JavaScript. These would be desirable but
not required skills.
We are based in Wellington.
