Hi,

For me personally when I was learning php I find the easiest way to do
so was
to pick a simple idea such as a shopping list application and learn
how to build
something small like that. It doesn't need to be perfect but it helps
you to learn
how the language fits together and hows it works.

But definenitly read through some beginners tutorials first. Then give
a shot
at building a small web app.

Have fun,
Christopher Tombleson
