+1 for Webdrive and Freeparking.
Not the cheapest on the market on price alone, but they are pretty good
when you factor in the cost of your time + an intuitive control panel.
Discount Domains seem ok as well for a low-cost provider.
Completely agree re Domainz - expensive and poor service, control panel
is terrible.
I would also avoid any of the major ISPs - anyone whose core business is
selling internet access rather than hosting or domains. Often you can
get them to change DNS settings with just a phone call (no mind for
security), and the control panels aren't usually as good also.
