That data is accurate and current. It's automatically updated. It comes
from the output of "git describe" on each code tree (nakamura and
3akai-ux).
The last component (in nakamura, "g568911e") is the SHA1 of the most
recent commit in the 1.3.0 branch. The "1.1" is the most recent tag.
"688" is the number of commits that have happened since that tag.
From the git-describe man page:
The command finds the most recent tag that is reachable from a
commit. If the tag points to the commit, then only the tag is
shown. Otherwise, it suffixes the tag name with the number of
additional commits on top of the tagged object and the
abbreviated object name of the most recent commit.
