A general request: It would be really great if 3akai-ux major versions came with a release readme, so deploying institutions would know where to direct their efforts.
For example, while merging 1.3 into the CalCentral codebase we noticed the new (blank) custom.properties, and had to ask about its purpose. Similarly, we see the OAE codebase starting to use sakai.api.util.Modal() calls for modal popups, rather than direct jqm() calls, and had to ask around to find out whether this means we should be converting our code. In order to keep our code up to date, we need solid information about substantial changes in 3akai.
