Hi everyone, As a leads team, we've been looking at ways in which we can reduce the amount of time we spent in meetings as well as trying to block them as much as possible, and wanted to float the following proposal to the team/list. This is also partially driven by the redundancy caused by stand-up updates in all of our calls, as well as making it easier for UI devs and server devs to attend each other's calls.
The proposal lists the following meetings: - Tuesday 4pm BST/ 11am EDT/8am PDT: Leads call - Tuesday 5pm BST/noon EDT/9am PDT: Team stand-up call - Tuesday 5.30pm BST/12.30pm EDT/9.30am PDT: Server dev call following on from stand-up call - Thursday 9pm BST/ 4pm EDT/1pm PDT: Leads call - Thursday 10pm BST/5pm EDT/noon PDT: Team stand-up call - Thursday 10.30pm BST/5.30pm EDT/12.30pm PDT: UI dev call following on from stand-up call This will also allow Australian team members to have a meeting with the entire team at least once a week. For now, the weekly QA meeting has not been affected yet. If there are no -1s, it probably makes sense to start doing this as of next week.
