I've created the branches for nakamura and 3akai-ux. This means it's safe to 
begin making 1.5.0 merges onto the master branch.

Please remember that this doesn't mean the master branch is now the Wild West. 
We tolerate more risk when a release is distant, but we still want our tests to 
pass, and we want the application to continue working. This is even more 
important now that we're doing some judicious remodeling.
