Hi Diego, Can you provide some more information on how you are using each of these methods?
In theory, the loadWidgetData function should be used when getting a widget's data and the saveWidgetData function should be used when saving data for a widget. The loadWidgetData function will not return a location, but will just return all of the data that widget has saved.
