The reason for this check is to support simple revision ids (counters, without
timestamp) for the test case SimpleTest.nodeIdentifier.
But the format is a bit strange. I will change it to
{noformat}r<timestamp>-<counter>-<clusterId>{noformat}, where the timestamp is
optional for SimpleTest.nodeIdentifier.
