Jukka Zitting commented on OAK-857:
-----------------------------------
bq. Benchmarks (oak-jcr) are needed to verify this is working as expected
(including oak-core)
The WikipediaImport benchmark is pretty good for that purpose, though note that
for MongoMK you may want to adjust it to use intermediate saves instead of just
one big transaction.
> MongoMK: support for many child nodes
> -------------------------------------
>
> Key: OAK-857
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-857
> Project: Jackrabbit Oak
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Components: mongomk
> Reporter: Thomas Mueller
>
> When there are using many child nodes (many siblings), the MongoMK is very
> slow. This is mainly because it loads all children whenever diff() is called.
> There are related issues in oak-core (mainly in KernelNodeState and
> ModifiedNodeState)
