In rev [0] I switched the persistence selection mechanism to check for the
'host' param first, and then decide if it will use a tar based mk or a mongo
based one.
The reason is that it looks like in a sling environment, the repository home
will always be set, and after the latest change there was no way to switch to a
mongo based mk anymore.
