Alex Parvulescu commented on OAK-1333:
--------------------------------------
I'm looking at the SegmentStore#readBlob method and I'm wondering if this is
the right place for it.
The patch saves external blobs as records that contain references, then
delegates to the global store for the resolution, could this move higher up the
stack, maybe be abstracted away behind a component like a datastore of sorts.
Also, for the unit test, I don't think this works on windows: _new File("/tmp")_

> Currently, when putting a Blob into a PropertyState, the SegmentNodeStore
> automatically consumes the Blob if it isn't of type SegmentBlob, and stores
> its contents in the SegmentStore.
> It would be nice, if one could put _external_ Blobs as well, where the
> SegmentStore would only store a reference to it.
