[~anchela], thank you for your 2nd version of the patch. i have reviewed it and
i fully agree to your changes. i myself became similarly confused by the
duality of factory and provider. i am glad you took the decision and opted for
a simpler implementation.
so from my side good to go. anything more you need from me?
