An additional idea was to have a JMX bean that lists all .tar files, with
date+time of when they were created or changed, size, date+time of
compaction+cleanup runs. So that we can see the timeline of compaction runs and
calculate the disk space used by content changes and compaction runs, and
compare that to the open sessions.
