Julian Sedding commented on OAK-3240: ------------------------------------- Isn't this just a matter of how you set up your {{NodeStore}} instances? If they share the same {{BlobStore}} instance they can copy by reference, otherwise by value? I would like us to factor out creation of the {{NodeStore}} by URI (e.g. path, mongo-uri, rdb-uri) for easy re-use. This would allow to use a consistent URI-like configuration format, which could be leveraged by all command-line tools. WDYT? > Allow to copy binaries by reference in the RepositorySidegrade > -------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: OAK-3240 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-3240 > Project: Jackrabbit Oak > Issue Type: Sub-task > Components: upgrade > Reporter: Tomek Rękawek > > The {{RepositorySidegrade#copyBinariesByReference}} property is not used > anywhere. It should allow to skip copying binary contents and use the > existing blob store in the new node store. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.4#6332)
