IMHO the {{SyncMBeanImpl}} deserves some improvement:
- code duplication
- overall readability
- removing catching {{Exception}}
- throwing {{IllegalArgument}} when no argument has been provided instead of a
dedicated {{RuntimeException}} indicating that the operation could not be
successfully completed.
