Fixed at http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?rev=1720389&view=rev.
Turns out the test was failing if the compaction failed due to not being able
to commit the compacted head state. This was a false positive and I changed the
test increasing the changes for compaction to succeed and ignoring the test
otherwise. At the same time I made the test more aggressive.
