This constant currently is set to 120s.
In edge cases, it might be good to override the default (when essentially the
only other "fix" would be to turn off the lease check).
Proposal: introduce a system property allowing to tune the lease time (but
restrict allowable values to a "sane" range, such as up to 5min).
