Tomek Rękawek commented on OAK-4175:
------------------------------------

[~anchela], I was thinking about the case in which we already have a
fully-functional Oak repository (migrated from the JR2) and want to use
oak-upgrade again to copy a node subtree (eg. /content/mysite/en). It's related
to the OAK-2619 (repeated upgrades). Some customers want to top-up their
already migrated repository only with a recent changes on a selected subtree
and in this case, AFAIU, we don't need to run the initialization code again.

> Allow to skip the repository initialization in oak-upgrade

> Sometimes oak-upgrade may be used only to copy data from JR2 repository to
> Oak. In this case it isn't required to run all the repository-initialization
> code, copying node types, group info, etc. Please add a configuration flag
> {{\-\-skip-init}} that allows to only copy the content passed in
> {{\-\-include-paths}}, without doing any other changes in the destination.
