[~reschke], it was indeed an issue dependent on the platform. Apparently,
forgetting to properly close a resource (see OAK-4209 and OAK-4210) prevents
Windows from removing the corresponding files from the file system. I run the
unit tests for {{oak-segment}} in a Windows VM and the situation looks clean
now. Looking forward to your next report.
