Valentin Olteanu commented on OAK-3695:
---------------------------------------
Indeed, this info is interesting especially in the context of compaction.
Customers might want to have some statistics about it in order to decide their
maintenance schedule, but since it proves to be an expensive operation, I am
fine to have it as a functionality of {{oak-run}} (especially that it can now
run in read-only mode on open repositories, right?).
Besides, for development and testing, this would be priceless.

> As a user, I want to know the ratio (or precise absolute values) between
> waste and real data on TarMK, so that I can decide if Revision GC needs to be
> run. The measurement has to be done on a running repository and without
> impacting the performance.
> This would also help measure the efficiency of Revision GC and see the effect
> of improvements.
