I would like to improve how the {{SegmentWriter}} is used for compaction. In
particular I dislike how the {{SegmentBufferWriter}} needs to be looped into
{{SegmentWriter.writeNode()}}.
Furthermore creating a {{SegmentWriter}} for offline compaction with its own
cache (instead of using the caches we have) is a bit wasteful wrt. to memory.
