Fix For: 1.8
After the recent updates for OAK-5664, the builds on travis started to fail
with compiler errors:

This is most likely caused by the old Oracle JDK version used on travis
(1.8.0u31). See also https://github.com/travis-ci/travis-ci/issues/3259
