About the message "Couldn't read last checked blob timestamp", I made some
changes because:
* The IOException was not logged, which I think is bad because if it's some
weird IOException, we would have no way to get it (permission problem or so).
Just with debug level right now.
* I would avoid IOException if possible, so I added a check for file existence.
I also added a test loop (multiThreadedCommitsLoop), possibly you can reproduce
it that way. Disabled right now.
For me it fails in roughly 50% of the cases.
