Running RevisionGC on a DocumentNodeStore currently returns statistics and logs
them at info level, but there is no easily accessible fine granular information
available while the GC is running. There are periodic log messages while a GC
is running, but those are not really machine readable.
The system should expose metrics that allow to monitor the progress and track
statistics over time.
