Michael Dürig commented on OAK-6452:
------------------------------------

[~volteanu] I currently don't see how this could happen. Is this reproducible
on your end? If so, could you try again with a version of Oak including
http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?rev=1804379&view=rev and enabling debug logging
for {{org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.segment.SegmentBufferWriter}}? I added more
information to the {{ISE}} and other related debug logging at that revision.

> During the migration of a big repo from the {{old-segment}} format to

> The command used:
> {code}
> java -Xmx20G -XX:MaxPermSize=2048M -jar tools/oak-upgrade-1.7.3.jar
> segment-old:crx-quickstart/repository/ crx-quickstart/repository-oak-upgrade
> {code}
> Note that when this happened, the logs showed it had copied ~156M nodes in
> {{/oak:index/uuid/}} (direct children).
> I previously tried with only 10G heap, and it failed faster with OOM.
