Backported to 1.4 ([r1819184|https://svn.apache.org/r1819184]), to 1.2
([r1819185|https://svn.apache.org/r1819185]) and to 1.0
([r1819187|https://svn.apache.org/r1819187]). Btw, 1.0 branch wasn't hitting
OAK-5419 as it already forces mongo 2.6 on travis.
